1. Service Provider
The service "Piano Portrait" is provided by Individual Entrepreneur Sergei Beliaev, ID code 306380699, registered in Batumi, Georgia (the "Provider"). Contact: sb@thepianoportrait.com. Customer support hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00–22:00 (GMT+4).
2. The Service
Piano Portrait offers live personalized piano improvisation sessions held online via video call (Zoom). A session lasts approximately 20 minutes and includes a short conversation about the client's story followed by a live improvised piano performance created in real time. A recording of the performance is delivered to the client afterwards.
3. Booking and Payment
Sessions are booked through the booking calendar on this website. Payment is processed by our payment provider. The service is considered booked once payment is completed and a time slot is confirmed. Session tiers and their inclusions are described on the main page.
4. Session Delivery
Sessions take place via Zoom at the booked time; the client receives the meeting link after booking. The recording (audio, and video where included in the chosen tier) is delivered to the client's email within 48 hours after the session.
5. Rescheduling and Cancellations
Refund eligibility is determined by the originally booked session time. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the originally scheduled session are eligible for a full refund (minus payment processing fees) or a free reschedule. If a session is rescheduled or cancelled less than 24 hours before its scheduled start, the payment becomes non-refundable; the session may be rescheduled up to 2 times in total, and the rescheduled session must take place within 30 days of the original date. If the client does not attend a booked session (no-show), one free rebooking is offered within 14 days.
6. Rights to the Music and Recording
The client receives the recording for personal, non-commercial use: listening, sharing with family and friends, and gifting. Copyright in the improvised composition and performance remains with the Provider. Commercial use of the recording by the client (advertising, monetized content, resale) requires separate written agreement. The Provider may use short fragments of a session in a portfolio or social media only with the client's explicit consent, which is requested separately.
7. Client Conduct
The session is a live personal performance. The Provider reserves the right to end a session without refund in case of abusive or inappropriate behavior.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. These terms are provided in accordance with the Georgian Law on Electronic Commerce.
